Community Action Core for Multigenerational LGBTQ+ Research and Intervention Engagement
$45K Finalists

Empowered community is the most authentic insight into, and influence over, increasing research and intervention participation. A diverse and multigenerational LGBTQ+ Community Action Core (advisory committee) will be trained about the history, current practices, and impact of research on LGBTQ+ people. By facilitating listening sessions, training local research Champions, helping design an interactive webpage, and advising researchers and health interventionists, they will improve cultural responsiveness and transform research practices so that no one is invisible.
