Jon McGrath
RADx Team Lead & CEO, 149 Medical Inc.

Jon is a medtech entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience leading transformative, therapeutic and diagnostic projects and companies. He is a Team Lead within NIH’s RADx Tech and Blueprint Neurotech programs. He was CEO of 149 Medical (noninvasive neonatal monitoring); at Neograft Technologies (adaptive vascular grafts); and at LumeRx (photodynamic transendoscopic treatment for H pylori). Prior to that Jon was an R&D and operations leader at a variety of public and private companies including Biosphere Medical, Urologix, Schneider/Pfizer and Medi-Tech (now Boston Scientific).  He consults with a number of emerging healthcare companies, serves on the IRB and the board of trustees at the BID Plymouth Hospital, and is a catalyst in MIT’s Desphande Center. He has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Vermont.
