Malinee Neelamegam
Assistant Professor, Department of Population & Community Health, University of North Texas, Health Science Center at Fort Worth

Dr. Neelamegam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Malaysia, and MPH and PhD degrees in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining the HSC faculty, Dr. Neelamegam completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship, as a Fogarty Global Health Equity Scholar at Yale University/University of Malaya focusing on aging in people living with HIV.  Dr. Neelamegam has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Fulbright and Endeavour Fellowships. Dr. Neelamegam's research interests encompass successful aging, cognitive aging, and the impact of social determinants of health on older populations, with a commitment to improving aging trajectories in communities that face health disparities.
